Not feeling so inspired, I arranged a trip to the East of England to a location that had been on my list for what seemed like years. Never thought it particularly photogenic so always put it to the bottom of the list.
It was a nice day for a drive so off I went, not expecting too much.
After travelling for two hours I arrived, parked up and proceeded to walk to the entrance. It was literally a walk in, straight through the grounds and in through a side door. Easiest access that I have ever had...
It had at one time been a vicarage for a nearby Church but later became a Care Home. So much decay with many original features that made it a wonderful place to photograph. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.
After spending some time in there, I made my way out and was absconded by a rather vigilant neighbour!
Another quick visit to a nearby farmhouse that looked like something out of a Tim Burton film , which again was a complete surprise to how nice it was and the trip was complete.
A worthwhile day after all...
